    Dora M. Williams, 68, of Somerset, died June 12, 1989, Somerset
  Hospital.  Born Jan. 11, 1921 in Cleveland, Ohio.  A daughter of the
  late Rev. J.F. and Edna Mae (Williams) Messenger Sr.  Also preceded
  in death: by brother the Rev. J. Fenton Messenger Jr.; a sister
  Esther Weitzel.  Survived by husband Walter L.; sister-in-law Ms.
  Doris Messenger; brother-in-law Robert Weitzel.  Member of the First
  Christian Church, Somerset.  Retired employee of Somerset County with
  30 years.  Served as first deputy prothonotary and Child Welfare
  office.  A graduate of Juniata College, a veteran of World War II
  serving with the U.S. Coast Guard Women's Reserve.  Friends received
  7 to 9 Tuesday in the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home.  Private graveside
  service and interment will be conducted Wednesday at the Husband
  Cemetery.  The Rev. William Sleasman officiating.  Please omit
  flowers.  Contributions may be made to the First Christian Church of
  Somerset or the American Cancer Society.
