Williams Sr., 85, of Manns Choice RD 1, died March 19, 1984, at Blake Memorial Hospital, Bradenton, Fla. Born Aug. 2, 1898, in Stroudsburg, son of late William and Helena (Haas) Williams. Preceded in death by first wife, former Cora May Bentzoni, in 1974; son, John, in 1945. Survived by second wife, the former Dorthea (Weaver) Clark; and these children: Helena, wife of Novice Curd, New Paris RD 1; Emory R. Jr., married to former Betty Klymont, Bradenton, Fla.; Peter, married to former Doris Rolocut, Broadbrook, Conn.; Edward, married to former Wanda Grabiec, Portvue; Bertram, married to former May Coddington, Glassport; these step-children: Dorthea, wife of James Dinning, Somerset; Sandra, wife of Richard Hogan, Ambridge; Charles (Mae) Clard of Dumfries, Va.; Robert (Connie) Clark, Selingsgrove; Gwynne (Joyce) Clark, Napierville, Ill.; Dennis (Martha) Clark of Sharon; Jerry (Carol) Clark, Maple Heights, Ohio; 16 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; 23 step-grandchildren; 5 step-great-grandchildren; and one step-great-great-grandchild. Brother of: Mrs. Ethel Howell, Succasunna, N.J.; Mrs. Marguirite Hiller, Edward, Arlington and William, all of Stroudsburg. Was machinist foreman for former Carnegie-Illinois Steel Corp. for 44 years. Member Grace United Church of Christ, Manns Choice.
