    Fred Ova Williams, Jr., 80, of Rt. 1, Grantsville, Md., died June
  8, 1994 at Sacred Heart Hospital.
    Born Oct. 14, 1913 in Leetsdale, Pa., he was the son of the late
  Fred O. Williams, Sr. and Pearl I. (Leeper) Williams.
    He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth (King) Balcom Williams,
  on March 4, 1994.
    Survivors include a stepson, Kane Balcom of Howard, Col.; a niece,
  Linda Gray of Orlando, Fla.; and a nephew, Joseph Knighton of
  Rochester, Pa.
    He was a retired electrician for National Bridge Co. of Ambridge,
  Pa.  An Army veteran of WW II, he earned the Purple Heart.
    Friends were received June 10 at the Newman Funeral Home,
  Grantsville, where services were conducted June 11.  The Rev. Tim
  Allen officiating.  Interment, Addison Cemetery, Addison, Pa.
