Williams, only son of Harriet and the late Thomas Williams, of Munhall, Pa., died March 28, at St. Petersburg, Fla. He is survived by his wife, Marian Butler Williams (daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Butler, Salisbury), his mother and one sister, Mrs. William Kennedy of Pittsburgh. He was a member of the Methodist Church, and was employed in the bolt shop of Carnegie-Illinois Steel Co., at Homestead. He was also a very active member of Munhall Volunteer Fire Co., No. 1. A very impressive funeral service was held at the home of his mother on Monday afternoon. The floral tributes were many and beautiful, expressing the high esteem in which he was held by his many friends. Interment was made in the Homestead Cemetery. Among those attending the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Butler and Mrs. Leora Butler of Salisbury. Meyersdale Republican, April 6, 1944
