He was unable to walk without the aid of crutches, for 19 years, owing to an accident caused by falling, which happened while working in a mine near this place. He is survived by his wife, four brothers and one sister, as follows: W. L., S. S., Frank and C. C. Williams, and Mrs. Anna Davidson of West Virginia. His body was taken to Hyndman, on Friday, July 22nd, by Undertaker H. B. Rishebarger of Addison. [Editor's Note. Correspondent does not state where the funeral was held, nor by whom conducted, but the presumption is, judging from the paragraphs which follow, that the funeral and burial took place at Hyndman]. Those from a distance who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wills, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Wills, of Pittsburgh; Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Wills, Mr. and Mrs. Randolph Wills of Madley, Pa.; Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Leonard and son Russell, of Harnedsville; Mr. and Mrs. Albert Mason and children, H. L. Miller and son William of Hyndman; Albert Christner of Garrett; Mrs. Anna Davidson and son Douglass, C. C. and J. F. Williams and sons, Otto and Oran, of Dunbar, W.Va. Those who attended from Listonburg were Mr. and Mrs. Ray Burrow, Mrs. Phoebe Nelson, and Mrs. R. F. Lenhart. The pallbearers were nephews of the deceased - Douglass Davidson, Donald Williams, Randolph Wills, William Miller, Russell Leonard and Kermit Mason. Meyersdale Republican, July 28, 1932
