WILLIAMS, Russell

Russell Williams, 79, Rockwood, passed on Nov. 16, 2006, at The Patriot in 
Somerset. Born Jan. 16, 1927, in Nashville, Tenn., the son of the late William 
M. and Sally (Heath) Williams. Survived by his long-time friends, Priscilla 
Lichty and Verdena Schafer and her son Tom. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army in 
World War II. He was a pizza deliveryman who worked for several shops in the 
Somerset and was currently employed in the Ski Lodge at Sevens Springs Mountain 
Resort. A service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Rockwood Christian and 
Missionary Alliance Church. The Rev. Patrick Walsh officiating. Interment at 
Rockwood IOOF Cemetery. Graveside Military Rites accorded by the Somerset County 
Honor Guard. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Rockwood Alliance Church 
at 438 Harvest Drive Rockwood, PA 15557. Arrangements by Miller Funeral Home, 
Rockwood.
