Born March 28, 1905 near Scullton, Lower Turkeyfoot Township, Somerset County. Preceded in death by parents, William Ohler and Lucy Ann (Miller) Ohler (1879-1963); her husband of over 50 years, Ralph O. Williamson (1897-1985), and brothers Charles, Thomas, and Ernest. Survived by son, James Hall Williamson, married to Colleen Sebring, Sinking Spring, Pa.; and daughter, Maryan Williamson, married to Stanley Yoder, Pittsburgh; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Also survived by sister Edna Wolfson, Rockwood. An active member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Buckstown for over 70 years, Mrs. Williamson taught Sunday School and catechetical classes, and was president of the parish women's organization at various times, the last in 1985. She was president of the Somerset District (Lutheran) Women's Missionary Society, 1943-1945. In the community she was active with the Shade Township PTA and Band Parents, the Buckstown 4-H Girls Club, County Home Extension classes, Grange lecturer, and was local correspondent for the Johnstown Democrat in the late 1920's. She was a lover of nature, an avid gardener, wrote poetry, painted in oils and was known for her pie-baking. After living at the Lutheran Home in Johnstown since late 1990, Mrs. Williamson recently moved to St. Margaret Seneca Place, Verona, not far from her daughter. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown. Service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Buckstown, Rev. Richard T. Carter.
