Wenzel and Mr. and Mrs. Delmer Wenzel on Monday attended the funeral of the former's uncle, George Willis, which was held in the Methodist Episcopal Church at Lahmansville, W.Va., the pastor, Rev. Mr. Davis, officiating. Interment was made in the family burying ground on the old home farm following the services at the church. Mr. Willis, who was a bachelor, was aged 82 years, and lived all his life at the place where he died. He was a man of unassuming disposition, kind and generous, and had hosts of friends, as was attested by the large attendance of friends from almost every section of Grant County, who attended his funeral. A brother, Richard Willis, also a bachelor aged 80 years, with several nieces and nephews, survives. The surviving brother is an invalid, being afflicted with dropsy.
