Willkow, 81, of Willkow Rd., Berlin, died June 28, 2000 at home. Born Feb. 1, 1919 in Stonycreek Township. Daughter of the late Horace and Elizabeth (Berkley) Landis. Survived by these children: Kenneth, married to former Patty Blough of Garrett; Marilyn, married to Tim Archibald of Harrisburg; Carolyn, married to William Lambert of Shanksville; James, married to former Pamela Benton of Buffalo Mills; and David and friend Sharon Knopsnyder of Somerset. Grandchildren: Joshua, Gabe, Marnie, Roslyn, Brian, and Kerri Willkow, Samantha Newbegin, Amanda and Ashley Archibald, Matthew and Adam Lambert, and Tyler Benton. Great-grandchildren: Tiara, Jenna, and Patrick. Daughter-in-law Sally (Stufft) Willkow of Berlin, and sister Ruth Arch of Pittsburgh. 1936 graduate of Shanksville-Stonycreek High School, and graduate of Slippery Rock College. Retired teacher from Berlin Brothersvalley School District. Member of Trinity Union Church of Christ, Berlin, and Somerset OES Chapter 138. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Rev. Ralph G. Landis officiating.
