Wilson, 62, of Somerset, died Dec. 16, 1997 at Somerset Hospital. Born Nov. 24, 1935, in Somerset. Son of the late Louis and Florence (Racey) Wilson. Preceded in death by brothers, John Wilson and Maynard Morrison and sister, Dorothy Mishler; also a sister-in-law, Dorothy Wilson; brother-in-law, Kevin Yaste; and nephew Maynard Morrison Jr. Survived by his wife of 37 years, the former Lois Gindlesperger. Brother-in-law of Romaine (Barron) Morrison, Bel Air, Md.; Thelma Yaste and Marlene Gindlesperger, both of Stoystown and Don Mishler of Florida. Also survived by nieces, Etta Ann Leyman, Peggy Litterine, Connie Bentz and Karen Appelgate; nephews, Tommy Morrison, Roger Mishler and Kevin Yaste; and a special aunt and uncle, Homer and Pluma Racey of Winchester, Va. Member of First United Methodist Church in Somerset. A retired machinist with 36 years service at the Somerset Foundry and Machine Co. Former Boy Scout leader of Troop No. 132 of Somerset. Former hunter safety course instructor throughout Somerset county. An avid hunter and fisherman. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home in Somerset, where funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, Rev. Arthur Gotjen and Rev. Wayne Lasure, officiating.
