"Red" Wilson, 80, formerly of Oakridge Drive, Johnstown, passed away Feb. 23, 2007, at Rose of S h a r o n Home, St. M i c h a e l . Born Dec. 7, 1926, in Johnstown. Son of Walter P. and Emma Bertha (Bloom) Wilson. Preceded in death by parents; wife, Olive; daughter, Renae Hall; granddaughter, Laura Lee Stupsky; brother, Herschel; and sister, Evelyn Shay. Survived by these children, Gail, wife of Stephen Faher, Mineral Point; Sharon, wife of Joseph Stupsky, Marquette; John Wilson, Johnstown; and Mark, married to the former Tanya Jarvie, Boswell; grandchildren, Ryan, Jonathan and Jared Stupsky, Matthew Faher, Jessica Singer and Stephanie Faher, Michelle Naughton, Jeremy Hall, Carla Cole and Garrett and Heather Wilson; six great-grandchildren; brother Robert, married to the former Gertrude Carlisle; and son-in-law, Jon Hall, both of Johnstown. Lifelong member of Dunmyer Lutheran Church where he served on church council for many years. Also served in merchant Marines during World War II. He enjoyed farming, family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all. The family will receive friends from 1 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Meek and Dalla Valle Funeral Home Inc., Windber, and from 1 p.m. until time of funeral service at 2 p.m. Monday at Dunmyer Lutheran Church, Elton. The Rev. Nila Cogen, officiating. Interment Dunmyer Cemetery.
