Wilt, Appleton

  Appleton Wilt, aged 80 years, died Monday afternoon at his home in Milford 
Township. He was a veteran of the Civil War, having been a member of the 171st 
Reg. Pa. Vol. His wife died about two years ago. He is survived by six sons: 
Russel and John, of Rockwood; Isaiah and Enoch, of Milford Township; George, of 
Youngstown, O.; Ephraim, of Beatrice, Neb. and Ambrose, of Sullivan, Ind. The 
funeral took place, Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock. Interment in St. John's 
Cemetery.
