  BERTHA E. WILT
  
    Bertha E. Wilt, 71, of Swanton RD 2, Md.; died Nov. 21, 1981, in
  Garrett County Memorial Hospital.
    She was born in Jennings, Md.; and was a daughter of the late Lewis
  and Stella (Stein) Hoover.
    She is survived by her husband, James R. Wilt; a son, Homer Wilt,
  Swanton; five daughters, Mrs. Genevieve Rinker, Mrs. Evelyn Beckman,
  Mrs. Josephine Gaither, Mrs. Ruth Gilpin, all of Swanton, and Mrs.
  Doris Gilpin, of Hancock, Md.; four brothers, Elmer Hoover, Accident,
  Md.; Thomas Hoover, Grantsville, Md.; Albert Hoover, Albright, W.Va.;
  James Hoover, Friendsville, Md.; five sisters, Mrs. Mabel Stanton,
  Accident; Mrs. Eva Wilburn, Mrs. Edna Broadwater, Mrs. Annie Wilburn,
  all of Grantsville; Mrs. Nora Patton, Friendsville; 29 grandchildren
  and 27 great grandchildren.
    Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home where services
  were conducted with the Rev. Gale Hixon officiating.  Interment will
  be in Grantsville Cemetery.
