Wilt, 31, 525 South Potomac Street, Hagerstown, Md., died March 10, 1980 in Washington County Hospital, Hagerstown. Born at Grantsville, Md., he was a son of Mildred Ross Wilt of Grantsville RD 2, and the late Alvie Wilt. A vietnam veteran, he was a member of American Legion Post 214, Grantsville, and Local No. 6. He was a stone mason with Maryland Masonry. Besides his mother, he is survived by his widow, Delores (Beitzel) Wilt and one son, Leonard Wilt, at home; two brothers, Robert O. Wilt, Grantsville RD 2, and Delmas Wilt, Boynton; two sisters, Mrs. Elva Rugg of Confluence, and Mrs. Leon Cosgrove of Hagerstown. Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville. Services were conducted in the funeral home with the Rev. George Plants officiating. Interment will be in Grantsville Cemetery. Military rites were accorded by Grantsville American Legion Post 214.
