  WILT
  
    Dewey G. Wilt, 94, of Meyersdale RD 4, died Dec. 1, 1996, at
  Meyersdale Manor.  Born Dec. 20, 1901, in Jennings, Md.  A son of the
  late Jesse and Rachel (Platter) Wilt.  Also preceded in death by his
  wife, the former Bessie L. Leasure, Jan. 27, 1996; son, Clarence E.
  Wilt; two daughters:  Grace Ellen Wilt and LaVerne Mae Barefoot. 
  Survived by these children:  Orvil Lewis Wilt, Hanover, Va.; Paul
  Ernest Wilt and Sarah Mable Sturtz, both of Frederick, Md.; Carl
  Alfred Wilt, Stoystown; Gladys Verbenna Sobus, Summerfield, Fla.;
  Mildred Louise Leister, Berlin; Vera Marie Landis, Glencoe; Dewey
  Elwood Wilt, Meyersdale RD 3; Galen E. Wilt and Gale Lurene Bittner,
  both of Meyersdale RD 4, and Nancy Matilda Zinn, Meyersdale RD 1;
  also 40 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, and 3
  great-great-grandchildren.  A sister of Hulda Jane Shaffer,
  Meyersdale RD 1.  Life member of the Somerset County Horse and Mule
  Association.  He loved to participate in horse pulling events. 
  Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 Tuesday at the Price
  Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where service will be conducted at 11 a.m.
  Wednesday.  Interment White Oak Cemetery.
