Born Jan. 16, 1921 in Jennings, Md. a son of Nelson and Fannie (Burkholder) Wilt. He is survived by his wife the former Gladys Miller Wilt; one son, Terry Ray of McKeesport; one daughter, Mrs. Sandra Whitehead of Irwin; and the following stepchildren: Mrs. Virginia Canova and Mrs. Ida Secasky of McKeesport; Rick Miller of Greensburg; Richard Groff; James Groff and Mrs. Janet Groff, all of Confluence; three grandchildren; 22 step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; three brothers: Delbert and Ned of Dear [sic] Hill, Md. and Alvia of North Carolina and the following sisters: Mrs. Lettie Fazenbaker of Bittinger, Md.; Mrs. Edna Miller and Mrs. Anna Whiteman of Confluence; Mrs. Ineta Crinton of St. Louis, Mo.; Mrs. Elsie Merle; and Mrs. Martha Sumerville of Salisbury and Mrs. Vade Sheetz of Hyndman. Friends are being received at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence where services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. William Ferguson officiating. Interment in the Silbaugh Cemetery.
