Born Sept. 22, 1997, in Bloomington, Ind., he was a son of Edna Mae (Broadwater) Wilt, Grantsville, and the late Ivan Wilt. Mr. Wilt was a member of Cornerstone Assembly of God, Boynton. He was employed as a school bus contractor for the Garrett County Board of Education and was also a member of the Maple Leaf Rod and Gun Club and the Tri State Sportsmen's Club. He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Leona (Merrill) Wilt; four sons: Garland Oakey Wilt, Jr., Ivan J. Wilt and Christopher Joel Wilt, all of Grantsville; and Bernard Matthew Wilt, Dallas, Texas; a daughter, Vivian Elaine Warnick, also of Dallas; a brother, Kenneth Edward Wilt, Garrett; a step-brother, George Schrug, Berlin; and a granddaughter, Jessica Lynn Arnick, Grantsville. Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville, on Sept. 25. Services were conducted Sept. 26 at the funeral home, with Rev. Rodney Murray officiating. Interment, New Germany Cemetery.
