    Gladys L. Wilt, 84, of Confluence died Oct. 18, 1998, at Mercy
  Hospital, Pittsburgh.  Born July 17, 1914; in Fort Hill.  A daughter
  of the late Jeremiah and Kathryn (Stanton) Miller.  She was the last
  of 23 children.  Preceded in death by three husbands; a son, Richard
  D. Groff; and a grandson, James E. Wilkens.  Survived by the
  following children:  Virginia Canova, McKeesport; James Groff, Ida
  Secaskey and Janet Groff, all of Confluence; Rick Miller, Greensburg;
  Terry Wilt, Confluence; and Sandra Whitehead, Elizabeth; 34
  grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and two
  great-great-grandchildren.  Friends will be received from 2 to 9 p.m.
  today, Tuesday, at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, where
  services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Edward T.
  Reckner officiating.  Interment, Silbaugh Cemetery.
