Wilt, 56, of 1636 Quinby Avenue SW, Canton, Ohio, died September 3, 1984 at Aultman Hospital there. Born in Grantsville, Maryland, he was a son of Clarence Wilt and Martha (Durst) Wilt. He retired after 31 years of service as a maintenance supervisor at the Mellett Mall. He served overseas with the Army during the Korean conflict, and was a member of Perry Baptist Church, Canton, and the Louisville, Ohio, Eagles. He is survived by his widow, the former Catherine A. Hare; four brothers, Clarence Addie Wilt and Cecil Wilt, both of Canton; Earl N. Wilt, Swanton; Glenn Wilt, Hephzibah, Ga.; one sister, Mrs. Nellie Rounds, Swanton, and several nieces and nephews. Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville, where services were conducted by the Rev. David E. Fetter. Interment, Grantsville Cemetery. The Republic, September 13, 1984 [W1501]
