Mrs. Wilt, until recently, was in fair health for one of such advanced years, but during the past two weeks had been suffering from high blood pressure and a bronchial condition. She was born June 26, 1859, and was 81 years, 11 months and 13 days of age. She was a daughter of Jane and Andrew Fazenbaker. Mrs. Wilt had been a member of the Church of God, Manadier Ridge, for many years. She was twice married. Her first husband was George Burkholder, who died many years ago. She and Mr. Wilt had been married over forty years. Surviving are her husband and the following children: George W. Burkholder, Somerset, Pa., Mrs. Sam Bittinger, Lonaconing, Mrs. Ida May Metz, Cumberland, Mrs. Nelson Wilt, Mrs. Jane Mason, Jennings, all of whom were born of the first union. Mrs. Amanda Wilburn and Loman Wilt, Jennings, both of the second marriage, and two step daughters, Mrs. Cora Fazenbaker, Listonburg, Pa., and Mrs. Thomas Bittinger, Jennings. Three brothers, Alvin Fazenbaker, Lonaconing, Mark Fazenbaker, Scottdale, Pa., and Jacob Fazenbaker, Grantsville, and thirty grandchildren also survive. Funeral services were held from the Bittinger Lutheran Church, Tuesday morning. Interment was in the adjoining cemetery under the direction of William Winterberg, local mortician.
