Wilt, 79, of Orendorf Road, Bittinger, Md., died Monday, Dec. 21, 1987, died Monday at Garrett County Memorial Hospital, Oakland, Md. Born April 28, 1908 at Bittinger, Md., he was a son of the late Truman and Luvenda (Bittinger) Wilt. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Cleone (Kurtz) Wilt on July 24, 1970. He was a retired carpenter. He was a member of the Carpenters District Council of Western Pennsylvania 2274 and a member of the Glendale Assembly of God Church. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Anna Louise (Domick) Wilt; one son, Truman Bernard Wilt, Burgettstown; one daughter, Mrs. Molly Lucy Devore, Burgettstown; four brothers, Blaine Wilt, Bittinger, Md.; Mark Wilt, Detroit, Mich.; Leroy Wilt, Somerset; and Carl Wilt, Confluence; three sisters, Mrs. Malinda Durst and Mrs. Lucinda Bowser, both of Barton, Md.; and Mrs. Della Detrick, Lawton, Okla.; 16 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville, Md., where services were conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. David Kidwell. Interment, Bittinger Cemetery. Pallbearers were Daniel Wilt, Danny Wilt, Charles Wilt, Leo Wilt and Truman F. Wilt. The Republic, December 31, 1987 [W1509]
