Born Feb. 24, 1943, in Upper Turkeyfoot Township, the son of Maurice Wiltrout, Markleton and the late Lydia (Gray) Wiltrout. Preceded in death by his wife, Ruth (Zimmerman) Wiltrout, May 4, 2007. Surviving are one son, Jay Minton, Friedens; one daughter, Teresa Wiltrout, Somerset; three stepsons, James Cox, Friedens, Leon Minton, Okeechobee, Fla., and Terry Minton, Phoenix, Ariz.; two stepdaughters, Debra Spencer, Charlestown, Ind., and Susan Vanover, Alachua, Fla.; seven grandchildren and two brothers, Paul Wiltrout, Listonburg and James Wiltrout, Markleton. Mr. Wiltrout was an ironworker for Dick Coal Corp and was a member of the ironworkers union, NRA and American Whitetails Unlimited. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, at the Newman Funeral Home Inc., 9168 Mason-Dixon Highway, Salisbury, where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday.
