Born Sept. 14, 19096, at Longstretch, Md., he was the son of the late James and Laura (Layton) Winebrenner. Mr. Winebrenner was preceded in death by his wife Amanda Ruth (Browning) Winebrenner on June 10, 1965, and 11 brothers and sisters. Mr. Winebrenner was owner/operator of Big Savage Esso Station for 43 years and Casselman Lumber Company for 17 years. He was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church. He is survived by three sons: James W. Winebrenner, Princeville, Hawaii; Ellis Paul Winebrenner, Hagerstown, Md.; Darrell E. Winebrenner, Westernport, Md.; two daughters: Virginia E. Pfund, Lansing, Mich.; Carolyn L. Knickmeir, Sierra Vista, Ariz.; friend, Carol Meyers, Grantsville; 11 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren. Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home, P.A., Grantsville, Thursday, August 22. Services were conducted Friday, August 23, with the Rev. Daniel Agnew officiating. Interment, Mt.
