She was born in Fairhope, Jan. 30, 1913, and was a daughter of the late Charles E. Baker and Emma C. (Flickinger) Baker. A retired employee of the Amcelle Plant of Celanese Fibers Corporation where she worked for 38 years, she was a member of Mount Savage United Methodist Church. Twice married, she was preceded in death by her first husband, John Joseph Gaughan. She is survived by her second husband, William Winner; a son, Charles F. Gaughan, Oldtown, Maryland; a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Ann Moran, of Lanham, Maryland; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Friends were received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, where services were conducted with the Rev. Clair Leber, Baltimore, and the Rev. John R. Scamehorn. Interment was in Rest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers were Steve Gaughan, Douglas Gaughan, Alan Moran, John Shockey, Lynn Boyer and Bradley Moran. The Republic, July 21, 1983 [W1537]
