Born March 22, 1920, in Willsboro, N.Y., a son of Frank Winship and Bessie (Taylor) Winship-Blaise. Preceded in death by parents; wife, the former Stella M. Barnett, who died April 24, 1998; son, Frank B. Winship, who died Aug. 18, 1997; brother, Francis L. Winship; sister, Etta Blaise; and 2 infant sisters. Survived by daughter, Miss Rebecca M. Winship of Mechanicsburg, and niece, Miss Lillian Blaise of Oneonta, N.Y. Member of Christ Casebeer Lutheran Church and the National Civilian Conservation Corps Alumni. A veteran of the U.S. Army Security Agency, with 20 years of service, retiring in 1963 and a mail handler for the U.S. Postal Service in Largo, Md., retiring in 1982. Friends received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset, where services will be conducted 10:30 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Edward N. Corneilson officiating.
