  WINTERS
  
  Duane W. Winters, 57, Somerset RD 6, died Feb. 18, 1988, at his
  residence.  Born June 10, 1930, in Ralphton, son of the late John
  Edward and Mary Elizabeth (Griffith) Winters.  Preceded by his first
  wife, the former Loretta P. Merrbach, and sister, Mabel Speigle. 
  Survived by second wife, the former Helen Kalp Bruner; and these
  children: Robert G., Somerset; Keith, Meyersdale; Mrs. David (Cindy)
  Daniels, Somerset RD 2; and Mrs. Randy (Carol) Anderson, Meyersdale;
  also six grandchildren.  Brother of: Mrs. I.G. (Dorothy) Speigle,
  Boswell; John L. Winters, Denver, Colo.; and Mrs. Joseph (Judith)
  Gombita, North Huntingdon, Pa.  Former employee for Briggs
  Plumbing.  Member of Trinity Lutheran Church and VFW Post 554. 
  Friends will be received 7-9 p.m. Friday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
  Saturday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home.  Service will be held at
  2 p.m. Sunday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Pastor H. James Meyers
  officiating and Pastor George E. Bowersox Jr. assisting.  Interment,
  Somerset County Memorial Park.  Body will lie in state at the church
  from 1:30 p.m. Sunday until time of service.  Family suggest
  contributions to the Somerset Hospital "In Touch" Hospice Care Unit.
