  WINTERS
  
  James E. Winters, 86, YMCA in Columbus, Ohio, formerly of the Boswell
  area, died Jan. 27, 1979 at Grant Hospital, Columbus, Ohio.  Born June
  20, 1892 in Jenner Township, Somerset County, he was a son of Edwin
  and Laura (Griffith) Winters.  Preceded in death by parents, wife,
  Nancy D. Winters, who died February, 1962, and a daughter Lora. 
  Survived by a son James, Hershey, Pa. and daughter Mrs. Carol Hardy,
  Stoutsville, Ohio, seven grandchildren, and five
  great-grandchildren.  He was a brother of Mrs. Mary Bittmon,
  Florida.  He was a retired carpenter and member of Carpenters Local
  Union No. 200, Columbus, Ohio.  Friends received from 7-9 p.m.
  Tuesday at the Joseph H. Hoffman Funeral Home, 227 Allegheny St.,
  Boswell, where funeral service will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. with
  the Rev. Jeffrey Welsh.  Interment, Horner-Mt. Tabor Cemetery.
