James Ray Wisler Sr., 74, Ocala, Fla., formerly of Gray, beloved husband and dad went to be with the Lord Nov. 10, 2004, in Fla. Born Sept. 18, 1930, in the Church of the Brethren parsonage in Brotherton, son of Ray W. and Clara (Rhodes) Wisler. Preceded in death by parents and brother, Donald R. Wisler. Survived by his wife of 31 years, Patricia (Weyant) Wisler; children: Carol (Wisler) married to Raymond D. Bailey, Somerset; Jeffrey Wisler, married to the former Marta Goldfarb, Sidney, Ohio; Pamela (Wisler) married to Lynn D. Miller, Brotherton; Michele (Cepil) married to Gerry Rosenberger, Berlin; Lori Cepil, Ocala, Fla.; Linda (Cepil) married to Paul Welsh, Colorado Springs, Colo.; David Cepil, Ocala, Fla.; Sharon (Cepil) married to Joe Constantine, Tampa, Fla.; James Wisler Jr., married to the former Tracey Hunt, Cheyenne, Wyo. and Matthew Wisler, married to the former Misty Lane, Phoenix, Ariz.; 18 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Also survived by sister-in-law Melanie Wisler, Somerset, and other sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and other relatives. He is a Navy veteran of the Korean War serving from 1949-1952. Retired from New Enterprise Stone and Lime Co., Somerset Plant after 45 years of service. Former member and past president of the Stoystown Lions Club. He moved to Ocala, Fla., from Gray after his retirement in 1998. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin where a Lions Memorial Service will be held at 7 p.m. Words of Hope and Comfort Service will be conducted by the Rev. George Walton at 11 a.m. Thursday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin. Interment will be in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Fla., on Nov. 23.
