She was born Aug. 26, 1918, in Mount Pleasant Township, a daughter of the late Frank and Rose Gurka. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Wislocki; two sisters, Mary Haiden and Ann Ursick; and a brother, Seder Gurka. Survived by a son, John J. Wislocki, Virginia; a daughter, Melane M. Baraniak and husband, John, Hidden Valley; a granddaughter, Katherine Elizabeth Wislocki; grandson, John Tyler Wislocki; sister, Josephine Kucera and several nieces and nephews. Susan worked during World War II as an inspector at the former Walworth Valve Co., South Greensburg and later retired from the former Southwest Bank in Greensburg. She was a member of the SS. Cyril Methodius Orthodox Church, Jeannette and a life member of the A&B Club in Youngwood. Susan was a devoted mother and friend to her family. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed her cooking and playing bingo. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Kepple- Graft Funeral Home, 534 North Main St., Greensburg. A Parastas service will be held 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. Thursday at SS. Cyril Methodius Orthodox Church, 520 Scott Ave., Jeannette. Family and friends will depart from the funeral home at 9 a.m. Wednesday. Interment will follow in the Westmoreland County Memorial Park.
