Born March 22, 1885, in Marietta, Pa., a son of the late Adam and Sarah (Ziegler) Wisman. Preceded in death by six brothers and six sisters. Survived by his widow, Leah Hileman Wisman; two daughters, Sarah, wife of James A. Critchfield, Griffith, Ind., and Mrs. Rachel Pile, Somerset; two grandchildren, Mrs. Liane Pile Kilgour, Valpariso, Ind., and James W. Critchfield, Excelsior, Minn.; and five great-grandchildren. Lifelong member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Men's Bible Class, and formerly served on the church board. He was a retired office employe [sic] of Pittsburgh Consolidation Coal Co. He was a member of Somerset IOOF Lodge, Modern Woodmen of America. His death ended a marriage union of 65 years. Friends will be received after 2 p.m. Saturday in Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, where service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, the Rev. Robert G. Doyle officiating. Interment, Husband Cemetery. Family requests, please omit flowers.
