  WITMER
  
  Laura S. Witmer, 101, of Mt. Joy, formerly of Berlin, died May 14,
  2003.  She was born March 10, 1902, in Mt. Joy, Pa.  A graduate of
  Lancaster General Hospital in 1925.  She assisted doctors in Somerset
  County in delivering 988 babies.  Lived in Berlin with her husband
  Rev. Frank Witmer until they moved to Mt. Joy in 1953.  Her husband
  Frank died in 1969.  Survived by one son, Richard S. Witmer, of
  Partlow, Va. and five grandchildren.  Graveside service at 1 p.m. is
  Saturday at Mt. Joy Cemetery.
