    Beaudrey "Boots" D. Witt, 74, of Meyersdale, died Monday, Feb. 1,
  1999 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown.  Born Sept. 29,
  1924, in Ellerslie, Md., he was a son of the late Anthony T. Witt and
  Beulah (Funt) Witt.  He was also preceded in death by three brothers,
  Andrew Witt, Clyde Barr, and Reed Chaplain; and three sisters, Rosale
  Diehl, Geneuine Wihelm, and Maybelle Hersch.  He is survived by a
  brother, Herman E. Witt of Mount Savage, Md.; a sister, Dorothy Diehl
  of Meyersdale; and several nieces and nephews.  He was a farmer and an
  employee of Clites Coal Company.  He attended St. John's United
  Methodist Church, Meyersdale.  Friends will be received at the Harvey
  H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Hyndman, Pa. from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9
  p.m., Wednesday.  Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral
  home at 1 p.m. Thursday, with the Rev. Craig Lyman and Rev. Ray
  Gnagey officiating.  Interment will be in Cooks Cemetery.
