  CHARLES R. WITT
  
    Charles R. Witt, 54, of Salisbury, died Nov. 9, 1978 in Meyersdale
  Community Hospital.
    A native of Summit Township, he was a son of the late Benjamin Witt
  and Orpha (Bowman) Witt.
    A former employee of Champion Pipe Company, he was a member of St.
  John's Lutheran Church.
    Surviving are his widow, Ethel (Marker) Witt; a daughter, Mrs.
  Sondra Durst, Salisbury; a sister, Miss Catherine Witt, Salisbury;
  two brothers, Ray Witt, Girard, Ohio, and Robert Witt, Mechanicsburg.
    Friends were received at the Thomas Funeral Home, where services
  were conducted with the Rev. David E. Fetter officiating.  Interment,
  Salisbury Cemetery.
