"Bud" Witt, 95, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., died June 11, 1995, at his home following a short illness. Born Oct. 8, 1899, in Somerset, son of Charles and Maggie Mae (Sherman) Witt. Moved to Akron, Ohio, after spending the first nine years of his life in Somerset. He spent the next 50 years of his life in Akron, Ohio, where he was educated and worked at various occupations and positions. His last move to Florida at the age of 59 years was one that lasted until his death. Preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, George Witt and William Witt, and his sisters, Louise Gahring, Julia Kerr and Alma Hicks. His surviving nieces and nephews include George Witt, Phyllis Berkley, William Witt, Marian Lawson, Terry Gahring, Louise Steele, Fern Germano, Larry Kerr, Gary Kerr, Pat Rejec, Blanche Hicks and Robert Hicks. Graveside services were held Tuesday at Crown Hill Cemetery, Twinsburg, Ohio.
