WITT Earl Wilbert Witt, 83, of Wellersburg, died April 24, 1975, in Nellas, Inc., VA Nursing Home, Elkins, W.Va. Born in Wellersburg, he was a son of the late George and Alice L. (Moser) Witt. His wife, the former Ella Troutman, preceded him in death. Mr. Witt was a retired pipeline stationary engineer. He was a veteran of World War I, was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of Somerset, and served 18 years as treasurer of the Wellersburg school board. Surviving are a son, Donald E. Witt, Hyndman; four daughters, Mrs. Marie Nehring and Mrs. Hazel Mundy, both of Cleveland, Ohio; Mrs. Wilhelmina Neubiser and Mrs. Betty Ringler, both of Wellersburg; also nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, three brothers, Guy Witt, Akron, Ohio; Robert and Walter Witt, both of Wellersburg; and a sister, Mrs. Grace Weller, Mt. Pleasant, Mich. Funeral service was conducted Monday afternoon in Zeigler Funeral Home, Hyndman, with Rev. Ken L. Korns officiating. Interment in Sunset Memorial Park.
