Witt, 75, of Wellersburg, died March 14, 1975, in Memorial Hospital, Cumberland. Born Aug. 6, 1899, in Southampton Township, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary (Smith) Troutman. During World War II, she had been employed at Kelly-Springfield Tire Company in Cumberland. She was a member of the United Church of Christ, Wellersburg; the Ladies Auxiliary of Foreign Wars, Somerset, and the Senior Citizens Club of Cumberland. Surviving are her husband, Earl Wilbur Witt; a son, Donald E. Witt, Hyndman; four daughters, Mrs. Marie Nehring and Mrs. Hazel Munday, both of Cleveland, Ohio; Mrs. Wilhelmina Neubiser and Mrs. Betty Ringler, both of Wellersburg; nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; a brother, Eugene Troutman, and a sister, Mrs. Geneva Emerick, both of Hyndman RD 1. Funeral service was conducted Monday afternoon in Zeigler Funeral Home, Hyndman, with Rev. John Miller officiating. Interment in Sunset Memorial Park. Meyersdale Republic, March 20, 1975 [W1620]
