Witt, 75, of 158 Reckner Road, Salisbury, died Nov. 13, 2002 at the Meyersdale Medical Center, Meyersdale. Born Nov. 13, 1927 in Acosta, she was a daughter of the late Wilmer and Cora (Spaugy) Marker. Mrs. Witt was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. Witt, in 1978. Surviving are a daughter, Sondra S. Durst of Salisbury, four brothers: Wilmer Marker, Jr. and Lawrence Marker of Garrett, Edgar Marker and Gordon Marker, both of Somerset, two sisters, Betty Custer of Berlin and Glenda Weimer of Meyersdale, three granddaughters, Sanda Wilson and husband Carl, Sarah and Angel Durst. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Salisbury and a retired seamstress at the Salisbury Sportswear. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Newman Funeral Home Inc., 9168 Mason-Dixon Highway, Salisbury. Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home Monday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. David E. Fetter officiating. Interment will be in Salisbury Cemetery. Daily American, November 15, 2002 [W1623]
