  Frank E. Witt, 91, Meyersdale RD 1, (Summit Mills), died March 22,
  1987, in Meyersdale.  Born June 10, 1895, in Summit Mills, son of the
  late George R. and Mary (Schrock) Witt.  Survived by wife of 67 years,
  Margaret Opel; three sons, Frank Jr., married to the former Virginia
  Lynch of Champagne, Ill.; Leland, married to the former Louise
  Blubaugh of Berlin; and Stanley, married to the former Mary Stafford
  of Garrett; 12 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.  Member of
  the Main Street Brethren Church.  Veteran World War I.  Retired
  teacher with 48 years of service at the S.J. Miller School.  Member
  of the National Teachers Association and a former member of
  Meyersdale Lions Club.  Friends received at the Leckemby Funeral Home
  Tuesday 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.  Service will be
  Thursday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Robert Stahl.  Interment, Union
  Cemetery.
