WITT Hazel Kathryn Witt, 71, of Clarksville, formerly of Queen City Towers, Cumberland, Maryland, died Tuesday, January 1, 1985, at Waynesburg. Born Feb. 11, 1913 in Fairhope, she was a daughter of the late William Smith and Ida Belle (Kennell) Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin R. Witt. She was a homemaker, and had lived most of her life in the Cumberland area. She was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, the Queen City Towers Homemakers, past president of the flower fund and bingo club at the Towers, the Cumberland Senior Citizens. She is survived by two brothers, Alfred Smith, Frostburg, and Jay "Doc" Smith, Mill Run; one sister, Mrs. Mayme Troutman, Wellersburg. Friends were received at Behm Funeral Home, Route 188, Jefferson. A Blessing service was held with the Rev. Father Ralph Stack officiating. Interment, Cook Cemetery, Wellersburg.
