  WITT
  
    Margaret M. Witt, 90, Meyersdale RD 1 (Summit Mills), died June 3,
  1988, in the Goodwill Mennonite Home, Grantsville, Md.  She was born
  April 29, 1898, in Summit Twp., a daughter of the late John A. and
  Ida (Engle) Opel.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank
  E.  She is survived by three sons: Frank Jr., married to Virginia
  Lynch, Champagne, Ill.; Leland, married to Louise Blubaugh, Berlin;
  and Stanley, married to Mary Stafford, Garrett; also 11 grandchildren
  and 10 great-grandchildren.  She was a member of the Main Street
  Brethren Church and the Meyersdale V.F.W. Auxiliary.  She was a
  former school teacher, tax collector and census taker in Summit
  Township.  Friends will be received today 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and on
  Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Leckemby Funeral Home, where service
  will be Monday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Robert Stahl officiating. 
  Interment, Union Cemetery.
