    Mary Catherine "Kate" Witt, 75, of 113 N. Grant St., Salisbury,
  died Thursday, April 18, 1996, at Meyersdale Medical Center.  Born
  Jan. 9, 1921, at Summit Mills, Pa.  She was a daughter of the late
  Benjamin Henry and Orpha Mable (Bowman) Witt.  Survivors include a
  brother, Robert Witt, Mechanicsburg; one niece; four nephews; three
  great nieces and one great nephew.  Member of Main Street Church of
  the Brethren, Meyersdale and Salisbury Firemen's Auxiliary.  Retired
  sewing machine operator from Salisbury Undergarment Factory.  Friends
  will be received 7-9 p.m., Saturday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Sunday at
  Newman Funeral Home Inc., Salisbury, where services will be conducted
  at 1 p.m., Monday with the Rev. Robert Stahl officiating.  Interment,
  Summit Mills Cemetery.  Expression of sympathy may be directed to
  either Salisbury Firemen's Auxiliary or Main Street, Church of the
  Brethren.
