  RALPH T. WITT SR.
  
    Ralph T. Witt Sr., 70, Eckhart, Md., died Wednesday, June 21, 1989,
  at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland, Md.
    Born Oct. 25, 1918, in Wellersburg, he was the son of the late Jim
  and Jane (Collins) Witt.
    He was preceded in death by one daughter.
    He was a retired employee of the Celanese Fiber Corporation in the
  plant protection department.  He was an active emergency medical
  technician assistant for the Frostburg Area Ambulance Service,
  life-time member of the Clarysville Volunteer Fire Department, and
  former volunteer at the Frostburg Village Nursing Home.
    Surviving are his widow, Harriet (Humbertson) Witt; one son, Ralph
  Thomas Witt Jr., Street, Md.; one daughter, Mrs. Carol Ann Mathis,
  Westminster, Md.; one sister, Mrs. Inez Sollenberger, Chambersburg;
  three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
    Friends were received at the Durst Funeral Home, where services
  were conducted Friday at 1 p.m. by the Rev. Todd W. Turner. 
  Interment, Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
