  Robert L. Witt, 86, Wellersburg, died Nov. 13, 1988, at home.  Born
  June 29, 1902, in Wellersburg, son of the late George and Alice
  (Moser) Witt.  Also preceded in death by three sisters, three
  brothers and a daughter, Mrs. Louise Murray.  Survived by wife, Ruth
  E. (Witt) Witt; a daughter, Mrs. Yvonne Petenbrink, Pottstown, Pa.;
  brother, Walter Witt, Wellersburg; seven grandchildren and 13
  great-grandchildren.  Retired employee of Kelly Springfield Tire
  Company, Cumberland.  Member of Zion Lutheran and Reformed Church,
  Wellersburg.  Member of F.O.E. #245, Cumberland, the Outdoor Club,
  Barrelville, and a past manager of Wellersburg baseball team of the
  PenMar League.  Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. Monday, and
  from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home,
  Hyndman.  Service will be held at the Zion Lutheran and Reformed
  Church at 2 p.m. Wednesday, with the Rev. Harold W. Crabtree
  officiating.  Interment, Wellersburg Cemetery.  The body will lie in
  state at the church one hour prior to the service.
