  ROY E. WITT
  
    Roy E. Witt, 80, of Cresaptown, Md., died Thursday, Sept. 24, 1987
  in Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland Md.
    Born in Wellersburg, he was the son of the late James and Rebecca
  (Burkett) Witt. 
    He is a retired employee of the Celanese Corporation. 
    Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Anna Mary (Shoemake) Witt; one
  daughter, Shelby Lough, Potomac Park, Md.; two stepsons, George
  Peterbrink, Frostburg, Md.; and Raymond Peterbrink, Angleton, Texas;
  one half-brother, Ralph Witt, Eckhart, Md.; one half-sister, Mrs.
  Inez Sollenberger, Chambersburg; two grandsons and six stepgrandsons.
    Friends were received at the Sowers Funeral Home, Frostburg, Md.
  where services were conducted Saturday at 1 p.m. by the Rev. Kenneth
  Humbert.  Interment, Frostburg Memorial Park.
