  WITT
  
  Wilbur A. Witt, 84, Somerset, died July 29, 1987, in Somerset
  Community Hospital.  He was born April 6, 1903, in Berlin, son of the
  late Arthur G. and Sadie (Miller) Witt.  Preceded by brother Harvey,
  and an infant brother.  Survived by his wife, the former Mary A.
  Trent, with whom he celebrated his 50th wedding anniversary on April
  15, 1987.  Retired welder for Coast Guard shipyard in Baltimore. 
  Member of Grace United Methodist Church, the Oldtimers Baseball Club,
  Somerset V.F.W., Home Aid Association and past life member of Somerset
  Fire Department.  Friends will be received 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Thursday
  (today) at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, where service will be
  held Friday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Charles F. Olson
  officiating.  Interment, Husband Cemetery.  Family suggests
  contributions to Somerset Fire Department Equipment Fund.
