  CHARLES H. WITTE
  
    Charles H. Witte, 89, Frostburg Heights Apartments, died June 15,
  1982 in Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland, Md.
    A native of Mount Savage, he was a son of the late Benjamin Witte
  and Julia (Davison) Witte.  His wife, Leota (Folk) Witte, preceded
  him in death.
    A retired Kaiser Refractories employee, he was a member of St.
  Michael's Church and was a veteran of World War I.
    He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Marlene Walker, Frostburg; a
  stepdaughter, Mrs. Pauline Hopkins, Zihlman; two sisters, Mrs.
  Cecelia Shoemaker, Baltimore, Md.; Mrs. Gertrude Robertson, Avilton;
  two brothers, Richard Witte, Eckhart; Joseph Witte, Wellersburg;
  three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three
  stepgrandchildren; four step great-grandchildren.
    Friends were received at the Sowers Funeral Home.
