EDWARD WOIDA

  Edward Woida, 81, of Fairhope, R.D. 1, died Thursday in the Fairhope community 
where he has lived for forty years as a farmer.
  He was born October 14, 1867, a son of Dottlier and Rosella Berkett Woida in 
Russia.  He was twice married.  His first wife was Julia Ann Bittner, who died 
in 1942; later he married Miss Abelia Ruttig, who survives, and the following 
children: Mrs. Fred Kern, Fairhope, R.D. 1, Gus Woida, Cumberland, Md., August 
Woida, Berlin, R.D. 3, Mrs. Fred Weidner, Berlin R.D. 3.
  Funeral services were held Sunday, Sept. 12, at 2:30 p.m. at Mt. Zion Lutheran 
Church with the Rev. Charles Raley, Jenner Evangelical Church, officiating.  
Interment in Glen Savage Cemetery.
