She had suffered from a heart ailment for a long while and on April 27th contracted pneumonia from which she recovered in a short while, but her weakened heart kept her confined to a hospital bed from May 13th until it ceased to function on May 20th. She was born in Rockwood, a descendant of pioneer settlers of Milford Township. She was a daughter of John D. and Helen (Will) Miller, and lived in Rockwood during her entire life, her father having conducted a general store there for many years, and her husband, also being a prominent businessman of the community until the present time. Mrs. Wolf was a life-long member of the Lutheran Church, a charter member of the Rockwood Women's Club and of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Surviving are her husband, two daughters, Mrs. C. F. Outten of Portsmouth, Va., Miss Helen, residing at home, and employed by the department of public assistance in Somerset, one grandson, Joseph Fendall Outten and three brothers; John W. and Chester A. Miller of Rockwood and Joseph E. Miller, Pittsburgh. Funeral services were held in the Rockwood Lutheran Church, Tuesday at 10 a.m., her former pastor, Rev. Herbert H. Hohman, now of Tyrone, officiating. Interment in the Rockwood I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Meyersdale Republican, May 24, 1945
