    JOHN H. WOLFORD
    
      John H. (Molly) Wolford, 83, of Hyndman RD 1, died Thursday,
  April 17, 1986 at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland, Md.
      Born in Fossilville, he was a son of the late Edith (Wolford)
  Beal Shaffer.
      He was retired from the Kelly-Springfield Tire Company,
  Cumberland, Md. in 1964.  In the 1920's he was manager of the Hyndman
  Nine Baseball team.
      Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Elsie M. (Miller) Wolford; a
  daughter, Mrs. Mary Ann Robinette, Hyndman RD 1; two brothers,
  Clifton N. Bean and Carson J. Shaffer, both of Hyndman; two
  stepbrothers, Eugene Shaffer, Hyndman RD 1, and Guy Shaffer,
  Cumberland, Md. and two grandchildren.
      Friends were received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home where
  services were conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Allyn L.
  Ricketts.  Interment Madley Cemetery.
