Born Dec. 25, 1906 in Spooner, Wisconsin. A son of Carman and Sante (Stranges) Rizzo. He is survived by his wife, Edna Ohler Wolfson, Pittsburgh; three sons, Joseph Rizzo, Pittsburgh; Karl Wolfson, Pittsburgh; Paul Wolfson, Richmond, Va.; two daughters, Mrs. Lois Baxendell, Pittsburgh; Mrs. Nancy Leonie, Rockwood; one brother, Lewis Phillips, Moundsville, W.Va.; 11 grandchildren. Preceded in death by two sons, Lewis in 1934, and Kenneth in 1946. He was a member of ISDA of Pittsburgh; Carducci Lodge No. 66, Pittsburgh; The Fraternal Order of Eagles, Somerset; Bakery and Confectionary Union Local 12, Pittsburgh; The Holy Name Society of St. Casimir's Roman Catholic Church, Pittsburgh. Rosary will be recited in the funeral home Wednesday at 8 p.m. Friends will be received at the William J. Wood Funeral Home, Rockwood from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday. Mass of the Christian Burial will be recited Friday at 9 a.m. at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church at Somerset With the Rev. Samuel J. Tomaselli officiating.
